We are Macclesfield’s leading ladies choir. We perform at local events, bringing joy and harmony to our community through contemporary music.
About Chordiality.
Chordiality was started in 2018, creating a unique community choir for joyful singing and personal wellbeing. We have over 60 members who rehearse weekly and perform at local festivals, Macclesfield’s Treacle Market, community fairs, civic events and fundraisers. Chordiality hosts its own showcase concert biennially.
Run by five friends on a voluntary basis, Chordiality is the only choir in Macclesfield that exists for the benefit of the members and the community it serves.
Chordiality goes beyond singing together, with an emphasis on friendship and support being central to what we stand for. We’re very proud to support many local causes with our performances and charitable donations.
Our Musical Director is Ben Beer. Ben works closely with the choir team, setting the musical direction, arranging songs, leading choir practices, and accompanying us at all our performances. We’re extremely lucky to have someone of Ben’s calibre at the helm. Thanks to his encouragement and musicianship, we’ve quickly built a reputation for giving great performances that uplift our audiences and add something special to local events.

You don’t need to read music and there is no audition to join.
Rehearsals
Our amazing community of ladies sing together once a week every Monday evening. We rehearse from 7.30pm until 9.15pm (9pm during the Winter) at the United Reformed church, Park Green, Macclesfield SK11 7NA.
Perfomances
